When is the placement fee charged?
The one-time fee is split across three milestones: 25% when you hire the worker, 25% once they pass the one-month trial, and 50% after three months on the job. Each instalment is invoiced automatically as the placement reaches that stage.
How much do employers pay?
WorkersFromAsia charges a one-time fee of 8% of the worker's gross annual salary. There are no upfront or subscription fees — billing only begins once you hire, and is spread across the hiring, trial and 3-month milestones.
Do workers pay anything?
Creating a profile and browsing jobs is free, and visa processing after a job offer is free. Applying to jobs requires Verified Membership at $5/month (cancel anytime), covering biometric verification, document processing and priority support. Workers never pay recruitment or placement fees — in line with ILO fair-recruitment principles.
What if a candidate withdraws before starting?
No fee is charged until you hire. Because billing is milestone-based, you only ever pay for the stages a worker actually reaches — if they never start, you owe nothing.
Is there a refund policy?
If a worker leaves within the first 30 days for reasons attributable to the placement process (document irregularity, misrepresentation of role), a replacement guarantee or partial refund is assessed case-by-case.
In line with ILO Convention C181 and the ILO General Principles on Fair Recruitment, WorkersFromAsia strictly prohibits charging workers recruitment or placement fees at any stage. The optional Verified Membership ($5/month) is a transparent, cancel-anytime service — never a condition of getting hired. Any employer or partner found charging recruitment fees is immediately removed from the platform.
