How it works

From your first click to your first day on site

Five clear stages, each tracked live in your dashboard. No agents, no middlemen, no surprises — you always know exactly where you are and what comes next.

01Create your free profile

2 minutes

Sign up with your phone number, choose your trade — welder, electrician, pipe fitter, CNC operator, nurse, driver and 20+ more — and add your experience, certificates and preferred destination. Registration is free and your profile becomes visible to verified employers worldwide immediately.

02Complete biometric verification

1–2 days

Upload your passport and complete a biometric identity check. Verified candidates appear first in employer searches and receive roughly three times more interview invitations, because employers know the person behind the profile is real and the documents are genuine.

03Get matched and interview

1–3 weeks

Our recruitment team surfaces your profile to employers whose projects match your trade, country and availability. Interviews happen by video call. Every offer comes as a real, written employment contract — in a language you understand — before you commit to anything.

04Work visa processing

4–30 weeks

Once you accept an offer, your employer sponsors the visa and our team manages the paperwork: destination-specific police clearance, medical report, document legalisation, translation and the visa filing itself. You can track every stage from your dashboard.

05Fly and start work

Day 1 ready

When the visa is approved, we coordinate your flight and arrival. Most placements include employer-arranged housing, so you land with a contract, a home and a start date. Our support continues after you arrive.

Biometric verification

The badge that gets you interviewed first

Employers hire across borders sight-unseen — so trust decides who gets the interview. Biometric verification confirms that you are who your profile says you are: we review your passport, match it to a biometric identity check, and mark your profile with a verified badge that every employer can see.

Verification also includes a document compliance review: we check whether your passport, certificates and employment evidence are readable, consistent and ready for employer screening. If something is unclear, you can re-upload before it slows your application.

The result: verified candidates appear first in employer searches and receive roughly three times more interview invitations than unverified profiles. It is the single highest-impact step you can take after registering.

Work authorisation processing

From signed offer to legal work authorisation — handled with you

International work-authorisation files are paperwork-heavy: police clearance where required, medical checks, legalised and translated documents, and filings that must match the employer sponsorship process exactly. One wrong document can add weeks.

That is why our team manages the entire file. Your employer sponsors the legal pathway required by the destination country — and we prepare, legalise, translate and track the file with you, keeping every stage visible in your dashboard.

Typical processing can take 4 to 30 weeks depending on the destination. This service is free — we begin your visa file once you hold a written job offer, at no cost to you.

Your protections

Six guarantees, on every placement

Labour migration has a history of exploitation. We built WorkersFromAsia so that every protection is structural, not a promise.

No hidden fees

You will never be asked to pay hidden commissions at any stage. Every service has a clear, fixed price published before you pay anything.

Transparent contracts

Every employment contract is provided in writing, in a language you understand, and reviewed before you sign. No verbal promises, ever.

Your personal data is handled under EU GDPR standards. Employers see only what they need to make a hiring decision, and you can request erasure at any time.

Legal visa routes only

Every placement uses an official pathway — employer-sponsored work permit, residence authorisation, posted-worker route or destination-specific sponsorship process. We never operate outside legal frameworks.

Right to withdraw

You may pause or withdraw your application at any stage, with no penalty and no obligation. Your career decisions stay yours.

FAQ

Candidate questions, answered

Is it free to register on WorkersFromAsia?

Yes. Creating your candidate profile, uploading documents and applying to jobs is completely free. Visa processing is also free — handled by our team once you have a confirmed job offer. The only optional paid service is biometric verification ($99, one-time), which simply helps verified candidates get shortlisted first.

What is biometric verification and do I need it?

Biometric verification is a one-time identity check: we review your passport, confirm your identity biometrically, run a document compliance review, and add a verified badge to your profile. It is not required to register or apply, but verified candidates appear first in employer searches and receive about three times more interview invitations.

Who sponsors my work visa or work permit?

Your employer sponsors the work-authorisation process required by the destination country, and WorkersFromAsia handles the visa-processing work on your file — police-clearance guidance, medical coordination, document legalisation, translation and filing support — free of charge, once you have accepted a written job offer.

Which countries can I work in?

WorkersFromAsia supports placements across Europe, the Gulf, Russia, the United States, Australia and other destination markets on the platform. Your preferred destination is part of your profile, and our team matches you to verified employers where your trade is in demand.

Which trades and professions do you place?

We place welders (TIG, MIG, arc), electricians, pipe fitters, plumbers, CNC operators, scaffolders, crane operators, HVAC technicians, carpenters, metal workers, construction workers, agricultural workers, truck drivers, nurses, care workers, warehouse workers, chefs, mechanics, solar installers, wind technicians and more. If your trade is in demand in a supported destination, there may be a pathway for it.

How long does the whole process take?

From registration to your first day on site, a typical placement takes 4 to 30 weeks depending on the destination — Gulf placements can be faster, while some European and other routes take longer. Profile creation takes minutes, matching and interviews usually take one to three weeks, and visa processing is the longest stage — it depends on the destination country’s authorities. You can track every stage live from your dashboard.

Do I need to speak German, Dutch or French?

For most industrial and construction roles, working English is enough to start — many sites operate in English, and safety training is provided. For some roles, especially nursing, the destination country requires a language certificate, and pre-departure language courses can be arranged through our partner network.

What documents do I need to prepare?

To register you only need your phone number and basic details. As you progress you will add: a valid passport, trade certificates or proof of experience, references, and — once you have a job offer — a police clearance certificate for your destination country and a medical report. Our team tells you exactly what is needed at each stage, so nothing is wasted effort.
